Conduct a quick poll within Microsoft Teams

With Microsoft Forms quick poll, you can create an instant, real time poll in seconds by using the Forms bot within Microsoft Teams.

How do I use this technology?

  1. Login to Microsoft Teams (see Getting Started with Microsoft Teams)
  2. Select the desired Team.

  3. Goto the desired Channel, in the example below it is the General channel.

  4. In the Conversations tab, type @Forms.

  5. In the Suggestions window that appears, select Forms.

  6. From the What can I do? menu, click Your question? Option 1, Option2.

  7. Highlight and delete the placeholder text, Your Question? Option 1, Option 2.

  8. Type your question, followed by options. For example: "Which game types should we included in the Virtual Game Night? Board, Card, Electronic, Dice, Role Playing." Press return when completed.

  9. Team members can now respond to the poll, and see the results in real time.
