UAA IT Services
Technical Support Center
The Technical Support Center (TSC) is the first line of support for all technical issues. The TSC has skilled technicians to provide assistance with a broad range of technical issues, including general account access, network connectivity, and assistance with University applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Blackboard, and G Suite. If you have an issue, the TSC will strive to provide you with a solution.
Audio/Visual Support
IT Services provides audio/video resources, equipment, and expertise to employees on the Anchorage Main Campus and the University Center. Services include delivery, repair, and training for audio video equipment and video teleconferencing. IT Services designs and builds smart classrooms for use in instruction and can also assist with the selection and configuration of equipment in conference rooms and meeting spaces.
Desktop Services
Desktop Services provides on-site assistance when issues cannot be resolved within normal efforts performed by the TSC. If the work is not defined as a work-stoppage, the work will be queued up on a first come/first serve basis and a desktop technician will contact the ticket owner within two business days to schedule the work. A customer always has the option to call back the call center and change the priority to a work-stoppage, which will incur a cost.
Infrastructure Services
Infrastructure Services supports the foundational technologies and associated services offered at UAA. The services that the infrastructure team delivers are typically behind the scenes and maintain the technology that supports the daily operations, such as Internet, email, website and data accessibility. Infrastructure Services supports the Technical Support Center, Audio Visual Services, and Desktop Services when the customer request or issue requires additional expertise or configuration
